This song was specifically written for my Grandpa Clifton, who passed away from cancer on Valentine's 2013. I started writing this, just trying to process what was going on. And it really helped putting it on paper. I realized he Is waiting for me. And I will see him again. Cuz, Heaven IS for real:) Love you Grandpa!♥

Heaven Is For Real

I wrote you a letter, I couldn't send it to you though.

If Heaven has an address to me it is unknown.

The letter said 'I love you, and I miss your smiling face

I wish I could be with you cuz you're in a better place.'

I'd give anything to see you. I'd give anything for just one day more.

I'd give up this earthly stuff just to hear you say:

'I'm right here. It's okay. I'll wait for you,

until your days are through. And you join me here one day.'

It's been three years since you left. I still miss you every day.

Will I ever get to see you? Will I ever find my way?

Sometimes I dream about you. And how that day will feel.

When I finally get to see you, cuz Heaven is for real.

I'd give anything to see you. I'd give anything for just one day more.

I'd give up this earthly stuff just to hear you say:

'I'm right here. It's okay. I'll wait for you,

until your days are through. And you join me here one day.'

My family surrounds me. My stories coming to an end.

Someone in Heavens waiting for me..an eternity together we will spend.

Don't be sad I'm leaving. Please, try and stay strong.

I know that you will miss me..but I've been waiting for so long.

Cuz I've been waiting to see you.

I've been waiting, I've just one day more.

I've given up this earthly stuff. I can hear you say:

'Come to me. It's okay. I waited for you..

and now your days are through...

You'll join me here..today'
